SCRIPTURE - ROM. 10:14 -15                                                      AUGUST, 2006

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they
have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the
gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

SUBJECT - BEWARE OF THE NEW PREACHERS!!! (PART 2)

Last month, I started, or rather thought that the message that I presented, would be completed, in just that one month. However, the Lord shown me that I needed to clear a few things up.

Thus, we have a part 2.

Now, to recap a few things, for those of you that did not read part one.

We started out, looking at the definition of a preacher. And we established the fact, that the term preacher, as it is most commonly used, is a very narrow minded definition. That is because it usually describes someone that is affiliated with the preaching of the word of God, in a Christian Church.

If we look at other religions, say for instance, the nation of Islam, they use a different name to describe the person, that delivers the message from the Koran [preaches], to the people.

In both instances, the person is doing the same thing, but because of their religious affiliation, they are called different names.

And, as mentioned in part one, the point of this message, was to reveal to you, another type of preacher, that is amongst us, that goes totally unnoticed, and, for the most part, has a whole lot more influence, on their followers, than most legitimate preachers, have on theirs.

The reason being, that, they, are not looked on as being preachers, because their message to those that listen to them, and the rest of the world, do not see that their message, is the preaching of some sort of religion.

But, according to the dictionary, that is just what their message is.

The dictionary, describes 'religion' as, among other things, 'a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices, 3 archaic : scrupulous conformity : CONSCIENTIOUSNESS 4 : a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith [or with fervor, or passion].

Quite simply put, it can be boiled down to one word, that is common to all of us, and is more readily accepted, and that is, 'philosophy.'

So, from this, we can derive, that anyone, that has a particular belief['philosophy'], and patterns their life after that belief['philosophy'], is engaged in a 'religion.' And therefore, if they are telling others about their ['philosophy, religion], then they are actually engaged in, preaching, which means they are preachers.

As with all religions, in order to get people to follow a particular lifestyle, people have to be converted, in their minds, and that usually takes a lot of indoctrination, usually through listening to something, over and over, again.

The more they hear, the more they may get convinced to adopt that lifestyle, or ['philosophy, religion], as their own.

And herein, lies a danger.

If someone is not aware that their continual listening to a particular type of message about a person's ['philosophy, religion], will begin to become part of their own ['philosophy, religion], or lifestyle, then that person could eventually become a follower, or even servant to, that ['philosophy, religion]. And therefore, the follower of the one, who presented it to them, in the first place.

Then, I named a particular type of ['philosophy, religion], that is being preached to our youth today, known as 'hip hop.'

It is presented in several forms, some of which, are totally innocent. Such as clothing styles, types of jewelry worn, hair styles and such [even though some of these can be rather extreme].

However, one of these forms, present a clear and present threat to, not only to these young people themselves, but to our entire society in this nation, and the world.

It is, what is known as 'gangsta rap.'

Since a rapper, by the name of Heavy 'D', identified 'rap', as being a way to inform, listeners to the realities of life, as he, and other rappers saw it, ['philosophy, religion], then he was, in a sense, a preacher. He was preaching the realities of life, as he saw it. Mind you now, preachers in church, are preaching the reality of life, as God says it really is. So, there is a conflict.

Rap, started out, with a positive message, to tell listeners, that they needed to keep positive attitudes about life.

However, as with any good thing, someone always comes along and corrupts it.

'Gangsta rap', takes the darkest, most negative view of life, and essentially reduces it to, dog eat dog, or just plain savagery, and animalistic thinking and behavior.

Our young people, see themselves, as nothing more than animals. The young men, made in the image of God, are no longer men, but wild 'dogs.' Our young ladies, are no longer ladies, but "B's and "H's" (female dogs, and good for nothing, but sex.) And the young ladies, like it, and flock to places where the congregation, gathers.

And what do wild dogs do?? The move around in packs, killing innocent victims, and even each other, as well as breeding all over the place.

Now, one would ask, 'How did they get like this??'

They got this way by listening to preachers of this corruption, like, 'Snoop Dogg', 'Ice T', 'Ice Cube', 'NWA', "Tupac', 'Proof', and the list goes on and on. And, not to be outdone, the women, started their thing as well.

And how did listening to this message from hell, convert them??

By listening to it, all day long, through CD's, being played through 'boom boxes' in cars, and houses, day in and day out.

They blast their eardrums out, and their minds as well, as the beat, and the words, blast themselves in to the mind, and they become walking zombies, willing to do whatever their minds tell them to do, which is to forget about doing good, because it doesn't work. Go out and destroy everything, because you will never be anything. You are just a piece of meat. When you die, it's all over. So go out and enjoy yourself while you can. There is nothing after this life.

This my friends, is the religion [philosophy] of 'Gangsta Rap.'

You wonder why our young people have no respect for others, it is because this religion, tells them not to respect themselves. And if a person doesn't respect themselves, then you know they won't respect anyone else. That goes for parents, elders, law enforcement , or anything else. Well, almost not anything else.

The only ones that they have an undying respect for, or worship of, is these preachers, that, if you hear what has been said about some of them, whose lives were cut short, as a result of what they preached (sex, and violence), you would think they were hypocrites.

It is not unusual, to attend the funerals for any one of them, and hear their friends talk about how much good they did for the community. That is a direct contradiction to the sermons they preach to our young people, while at the same time, making millions of dollars off of them, and living lifestyles, that most decent folks, can only dream of.

They get rich off of corrupting a generation of our youth, and have them, desiring to be just like them.

They wear the same types of clothes, accented by pants that hang at, but usually below the top of their under shorts, with the crotch, down at the knees. Note: This is the same type of clothing design, the slave owners of the past, had their slaves to wear, so they couldn't run away. As mentioned earlier, they continually blast their music, over loud speakers, usually mounted on cars, but also from
stereos in their houses. Constantly feeding on a steady diet of death and destruction.

Violence, sex, and partying, is the cornerstone of this religion. Say something negative about these preachers, and you raise the wrath of all of them, and their followers.

It has been observed, that you can say something bad about Jesus Christ, and not get half of the flack you get, by saying something bad about Tupac, Proof, or some of those other preachers.

Our young people, are on a fast track to death and hell, and hardly anyone wants to say, or do anything, that might draw criticism from them. Even those that know better, talking about the preachers in the church, tend to not only cover over, the destruction this religion is creating, but they, themselves, encourage it, by attacking those that do speak out against it.

The bible says, Isa 5:20- 25 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets..................

This religion, is poison to our youth, to our communities, and to this nation. And yet, it just keeps growing and growing, and affecting younger, and younger.

I saw a little kid, couldn't have been more than 7-10, wearing his pants so far down off of his behind, a couple of times, they completely fell off, and he just picked them up, and kept on walking, and some people said, 'Isn't that cute.' I overheard another kid, about 10, cussing like a grown up.

Where are they picking this stuff up from?? Hearing the sermons from the neighborhood hip-hopper blasting the sermons all over the neighborhood.

Some churches, have loudspeakers mounted on the outside of their churches, and the ACLU says, they can't play sermons over them, because they might offend those of other religious faiths. But, the hip-hopper, can offend everybody, cause the destruction of our youth, and, who says anything??

The preachers in the church, should stand up and say, 'enough is enough, we aren't going to tolerate this nonsense any longer.'

But, it will take men, with backbone, which is lacking in a lot of preachers today.

Maybe Tupac, Proof, and Ice T aren't the preachers we should be worried about. Maybe it is these spineless preachers. Amen!
