SUBJECT - NO VISION, NO FUTURE!!! [PT. 8]
PLAY/DOWNLOAD [MP3]
When I closed last month, I had just begun to explain why it is we are in the mess we are in, in this nation. And the main reason for it is the Church, more specifically preachers, that, just because they have a title before, or a degree or two behind their names, people think they are God's chosen spokesperson, and therefore, any thing they say, the people eat it up.
The fact of the matter is, the majority of them are nothing more than individuals who want to be seen as gods, by those that follow them.
You see, there are basically two types of preachers in the world.
First, we have those that are truly anointed/called by God to be His messengers to mankind.
This preacher is a man that for the most part, has dedicated his life to following the principles set forth by God, when He first set up the qualifications as to what it took for Him to even appoint a person in to that position. He understood that the bar, was extremely high, and that it was, in the eyes of man, a thankless job.
He realized that the first thing he needed to be, Holy [without sin, as determined by God]. This meant, back in the old testament, he had to be a strict follower of the Law.
He had to pursue all that the Law required. That meant that if he committed any transgression[sin], he had to follow the strict process of sacrificing the correct offering to God, as a means of penance, so that he could once again be seen righteous in the eyes of God.
His whole focus was on pleasing God.
He realized that even though he followed the Law 100%, that did not mean that he was qualified for the job.
You see, just because a person has all of the outward qualifications, being a nice person, a strict follower of the Law, a great leader, one who speaks well, or is highly educated, and gets along with everyone, does not mean that he is able to handle the
position of being God's man, to lead His people.
If you go in to the old testament and read how God called Moses to lead His people, you will see how even though he[Moses], was once part of the nation that enslaved His people, God worked on him in such a way that over time, Moses completely turned his back on all those that raised and educated him, to embrace the God of those that he once considered to be the enemies of the gods of Egypt.
Before I get in to further detail, let me address the other type of preacher that we have in this world.
This preacher has, from the worldly perspective, most, if not all of the traits that the man that is called by God has.
He too is a nice person, a great leader, one who speaks well, or is highly educated, and gets along with everyone.
Do you notice anything missing between these qualifications and those of the other preacher??
The main thing that this preacher lacks is the desire to follow the Law.
Oh, he may do a lot of quoting scripture, and saying what God says in the bible, but, in his mind, that was then, and this is now.
In his mind, today is over 6000 years later than when the Law was first instituted, and things have changed.
He will begin to quote what the 'new gods' say, and tie that in with what the people listening to him want to hear, to make them feel good about themselves.
I know you have heard many black preachers in our community espousing all sorts of theological nonsense about such things as Adam and Eve were black, Jesus was black, and identifying churches in our community as the 'black church.'
What they are implying is the notion that according to them, Jesus is closer to us, and we to Him because of that historical nonsense, He prefers us over everyone else.
Do you notice how they have just lowered God, Christ and the Holy Ghost, to having the characteristics of sinful man???
Rom 1:22-23 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
And so what we have, is their followers walking around believing the lies of a man that has no knowledge of God, let alone an anointing.
Have you noticed how far from the Word of God the Church has gotten?? If you don't know your bible, you will say something along the lines that it, the Church, is becoming progressive.
Well my friend, progressive, in this politically correct world, means the church is becoming more like what man thinks it should be, rather than what God set it up to be.
And it is because of this progressiveness, that we are seeing all of the calamities, and problems in this nation, as well as the world, and especially in the black community.
Do you think that what the black community is going through is the result of racism???
Do you think that all the young people that are being killed in the streets, is somehow the result of the white man???
Do you think that the poverty that our community is suffering, is the result of Republicans???
Do you think that the ridicule, and persecution we face every day is somehow tied to people that are envious of us????
If you listen to these preachers, that is exactly what they are telling you.
And, guess what??? They are all lies!!!
The fact of the matter is, the black community is cursed!!!
And why is that???
Because we are the #1 supporters of just about every thing God hates!!!
And why is this???
These black preachers!!!
As I mentioned earlier in this series, we are the #1 supporters of abortion, gay rights, affirmative action, and separation of Church and state, just to name the most serious.
These black preachers, not all of them but at least 90+ percent of them, persuade most of their followers to support politicians whose views on these and other issues, directly go against what God says.
Think about this!!
If we can support the killing of over 66 million babies, at a rate of 1.5 million per year since Roe v Wade became the law of the land, then, it is no surprise that God will allow the children we have with us to be killed. It is called payback!!!!
You reap what you sew!!
Some genius somewhere, got the brilliant idea to draw God in to the race issue by declaring that God has a special relationship with the black community because Jesus is black, and therefore all other races are secondary and beneath us.
So, what does God do??? He puts them ahead of us, in about every economic, and social category there is.
We wonder why it is that people from other nations, usually ones that we hardly gave a second thought about, can come here totally broke, and within 5 to 10 years, own their own businesses, houses, cars, and other things, while we tend to be the ones getting the leftovers from what they throw away.
Deu 28:33-34 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway: So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
You see, God has laid all this stuff out for all to know, but most of those that supposedly are His messengers to warn us, aren't doing the job, because they are more worried about what their congregations may think, more than what God says.
I could go on and on for days, talking about what these preachers are doing, but, you only have to look around, and the proof is right there before your eyes.
Now that is just in the black community.
Let's look at the rest of the nation, and the world.
As this message is being written, the #1 problem facing this nation, and the world, is the rise of ISIS, and other groups that are spreading terror all over.
And why are they doing this??
They tend to believe that they are doing the work of God, by killing everyone that does not believe what they believe.
Once again, it is preachers in their religion that are telling them that this is what God wants. Obviously, there is a problem when you have one religion saying that men ought to love one another, while another tells them to kill.
So, which religion is the correct one??
Well, once again, if the preachers in the Church would be doing what they should be doing, then, the followers of that other religion, as well as those of other religious affiliations, would come to see just which religion, is founded and supported by God.
And how is that supposed to happen??
Let's look at a couple of scriptures so I can lay the foundation as to what the Church is supposed to be, but isn't doing.
Mark 16:15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mat 10:5-8 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
And lastly, 1Cor 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
What do you notice about each of these scriptures??
Each one, outlines what the Church, and Christians should be doing, and what they, in most instances aren't doing.
In the regular 'bold' print, you will see what most preachers and Christians are doing. They are going around telling people about Christ.
However, in most instances, they are telling the people about their image of Him. It is not the biblical image of Him, but rather an image that will make Him more palatable to people. As a result, more people will like their message, and will start following them.
As I mentioned, these people only seek to tell people what they want to hear. As a result, their churches will be full, and their bank accounts, overflowing.
Problem is, that is not the whole message of the gospel. And, in fact, if you will look at the parts of those same scriptures, that are italicized, you will see what is lacking in all their messages, and is the One thing that without question, really proves to the world, just who and what is supported by God, and who and what is faking it!!
People can preach in a way that will make your spine tingle, they can sweat, they can dance, and they can holler. The can expound with such magnificence, that people will be in awe of how deep their knowledge seems to be.
Every thing seems to be making all the sense in the world, yet if there is no actual demonstration of God's power being manifested in that person's ministry, then friend, I would seriously consider whether this person is anointed by God. More
next month.
