(THE TRUTH IS, WHAT IT IS [6)
SCRIPTURE John 16:12-13
AUGUST, 2018
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself;
but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

When I left off last month, I introduced a scripture that essentially reveals what we are up against and how to recognize and overcome it.
2Cor 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Cor 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
This passage of scripture basically outlines the old 'wolf in sheep's clothing' scenario that most of us have heard about from childhood.
It essentially means that our enemy, knowing that if he comes to us, as he really is, we will recognize and run from him, decides to change his appearance in to someone that we trust and depend on.
They look like us. They talk like us. They embrace us. They make us feel good about ourselves, by telling us all the things we like to hear, and stand up for us when others criticize us.
Who wouldn't want a friend like that??
We welcome them with open arms.
God has something to say about that!!
Prv 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.
Prv 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
The vast majority of us, don't want to hear anything that makes us feel bad, or look stupid. And it is this stance that is at the core of our problems.
Because none of us is perfect, and if we want to get in to Heaven when we leave here, we better be perfect, or be pursuing it.
When I hear people talking about the idea that nobody's perfect, it shows me, and God/Christ, that they reject His commandment,
Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
This, my friends, is not a suggestion. It is not up for debate.
I mentioned earlier where the Rev. Jesse Jackson talked about finding
'common ground!!' Well, the
'common ground' we need, is
Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God!!
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. It doesn't get any better or straightforward than that!!
What was Jesus' mission when He walked among us???
It was to save souls, by destroying the works of the Devil/Antichrist.
You can't set captives[those that are bound by our sinful nature] free, if you don't first destroy what is holding them in bondage.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD WAS MANIFESTED, THAT HE MIGHT DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL.
What most Christians don't realize is that this is a war that we are involved in, and the enemy is winning by default, because Christians, the Church are not doing what they are commanded to do.
I was talking with a woman today, who says she is a Christian, and was passing out tracts, addressing the problems we face with crime, poverty, sickness and all the other things that cause us pain and sorrow.
When I asked her who she votes for, she proudly replied that she and her particular church, remain neutral by not voting.
While she is not the only one that holds this view, she and they are the main reasons for the mess this nation is in today.
Because, they are not doing what Christ, appointed them to do, and that is to
'destroy the works of the Devil!!'
You can't destroy something by remaining neutral!!
These people remind me of the Church at Laodecia that is talked about in the book of
Revelations 3:14-18, with an emphasis on v16.
It was a church that, rather than taking up a position on the Right, or Left, chose to remain
'neutral', or as the bible calls it,
'lukewarm!'
And, because of their position, they were cast in with those on the 'left', and dispatched to eternal torment.
This is where many of you that think like this will be heading.
I remember the parable of the 'talents' that Jesus talked about, and how 3 servants were given some talents, to use to show their worthiness to their master.
2 of them went out and invested or otherwise did something that doubled what their master gave them.
The third however, did nothing with what was given him, and when his master saw that he did nothing to increase what his master had given him, he took that talent back and gave it to one of the other servants, and cast him out of his household.
Matt. 25:14-30.
You see, there are a lot of things that the bible addresses, that many don't even know are in there, covering all of the things that we have to deal with in this life. But, you will never know that, if the man in the pulpit of the church you belong to, or the preacher you listen to, doesn't know, or refuses to say anything about it, because it is not popular.
Think about this. If the Church were doing what it is supposed to be doing, then, over 95 percent of the problems we have in this life, would disappear.
Why do I say this?? Because nothing good or bad can happen to any one of us if God does not allow it.
He is in control. And, the only reason we have these problems, is because He is allowing them. And He is doing that because we are not doing what pleases Him.
In several passages of scripture, we are told that He/Christ is waiting for His enemies to be made, His footstool[Psa 110:1, Mat 22:44, Mk. 12:36, Lk 20:43, Acts 2:35, Heb. 1:13, 10:13].
What this means is, when Christ was here, He set the foundation on which the Church was to finish, by going forth and proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died for the sins of mankind, and if you accept that message, and make Him Lord of your life, you will be saved.
Now the thing is, accepting Him as Lord, means you are willing to do whatever He directs you to do.
And what we are directed to do is to go forth in His name, and defeat the enemy[Satan/the Antichrist and their demons] wherever we encounter them. He has given us the power/keys to do this.
We are told in
Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Sickness, disease, poverty, misery, crime, killing, and all other things that afflict mankind negatively, come from the Devil, which he has been given control of by God, because of the curse that came on mankind when Adam sinned against Him[God].
Now, just because Jesus defeated the Devil when He was here, does not mean that was the end of him. It only means in that particular battle, he was defeated. The war however, still rages on.
Even though he was defeated for eternity, he still has the ability to make it appear that he is still as powerful as he had always been.
The only institution that was put here to hold him in check is the body of Christ, the Church.
Our battle, is not physical, but rather spiritual. The reason for this is, nothing you or I can do physically, will stop him. It takes warfare in the spiritual realm to defeat him.
This is why we can't get anything accomplished in finding solutions to the vast majority of our problems. We are too busy attacking people physically, who, for the most part, are being bound and used by the Devil.
The thing is, in this same instance, those attacking them, are themselves, bound by him as well.
The job of the Church, is to educate the people on who our real enemy is, and how to go about defeating him.
What we have today is the Devil, working through certain preachers amongst us, telling us that it is a certain person, group, or political party that is our problem, and they need to be gotten rid of.
Now I know what some of you are probably thinking, and that is, I am attacking a certain group of people, preachers, in making my point, so I am being hypocritical.
Well not if I am pointing out their actions as they apply to spiritual issues.
Jesus once said, You can tell if a person is a follower of His, or even the Devil by the things they say and do [their fruits], Matt. 7:15-20.
Therefore, if a person spends their time supporting things that God says they should be doing, then, they are following Christ. By the same token, if a person spends their time attacking those people, and supporting those that are doing things that God hates, then they are following the Antichrist/Devil!!
And, the best way to defeat them, is to expose them for what they are, so that those that follow/listen to them will turn away from them. We are not to physically attack, injure or kill them. That is the carnal way of thinking.
In radical Islam, what little I know of it, they use the latter approach, to get rid of what they call infidels. And, you can see where that leads, don't you??
2Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE.
Notice the last word in the scripture above, repentance. it means to not only ask forgiveness for something you have done, but to turn your back on, and walk away from it.
Well, how can you do that if you don't know you are doing something wrong??
If someone is telling you that, this is a different dispensation, or that it doesn't take all that, or we need to be progressive, politically correct, compassionate, or some other nonsense that excuses the wickedness that has engulfed this nation, the world, and especially the black community, then friend, you need to get away from them as fast as you can.
I can't get in to all the details on this tract for lack of space, but, have you ever wondered why it is that the black community in this nation, remains in a virtual state of poverty, illiteracy, and victims of violent crime, moreso than any other community??
These scriptures provide the key.
Luke 12:47 AND THAT SERVANT, WHICH KNEW HIS LORD'S WILL, AND PREPARED NOT HIMSELF, NEITHER DID ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, SHALL BE BEATEN WITH MANY STRIPES.
Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, TO HIM IT IS SIN.
