REVIEW PART 2

Well, here we are, in part 3, and this should be the end of this message.

We have looked at the absolute hypocrisy, and downright apparent ignorance of those who are supposed to be the leaders here in the black community, and in the nation, for that matter. And one can see, as Jesus said, ‘If the blind lead the blind, then both of them shall fall in the ditch.' [Matt. 15:14].

And friends, this community, and the nation, are not falling, but rather, leaping in to it.

Let me remind you of something.

Just because some in this nation, believe in a ‘Separation of Church and state’, does not mean that God, doesn’t make us pay for it. Because actually, what they really mean, is a ‘Separation of God, and state.’

When you talk about history, you need to look at history, as the bible records it.

Quite simply put, any nation that tried to defy God, paid a huge price for it. Even when it was God’s chosen people, whom He loves, He made them pay the price, as well. And sometimes, it was worse for them, than it was for those nations that didn’t know Him.

The bible precedent for that is, ‘Luke 12:47-48 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.
For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

The cause for our problems, is that we, or rather you, tend to follow the idea that God doesn’t have strict guidelines for us to follow, And where do you get that idea?? From religious leaders, who are wearing a mantle that, by God’s standards, they don’t deserve, because He didn’t put them there. Either you, or they, themselves, did.

Now we are faced with all this mess, and what do they tell you?? To follow a path that promises a utopia, but leads to destruction.

When I finished last month, I was addressing the tragedy at Virginia Tech, when one young man, went on a rampage, and killed 31 students and faculty, wounded many others, and then killed himself.

The response from many in this nation, was that we need ‘gun control.’

Well, while this may sound like a good thing, if we look at the perfect example of the results of strict gun control, then all we need to do, is look at Nazi Germany, under Hitler, and what happened when government took all the guns away from the citizens. Government took over, and became the criminal.

Many of you are asking, why am I mixing spiritual, and governmental things.

This goes back to the idea of ‘separation of God and state.’ You tend to be of the impression, as I mentioned earlier, ‘God is only involved with spiritual things, and not governmental affairs.’ That is the most ignorant thing anyone can think.

Why?? Read the bible!! Especially in the old testament,

Most Christians, sad to say, spend all of their time in the new testament part of the bible, because they believe, that since we are in a time of grace, and not under the law, that we can ignore the old testament.

Well, the old testament, is the foundation of the gospel, because it gives us the fundamental record, of man's relationship to God, as well as His relationship to us. Take that away,, and you have a one sided coin that isn't worth a thing. You are missing most of what the gospel is built on.

If we are living in a time of grace, then we need to know, 'grace from what??' If we want to proclaim His mercy,, then we need to see what happens without His mercy.

All of this, is revealed in the old testament.

The gospel, without the old testament, is like a building without a foundation. It will not stand.

Anyway, in the case of Virginia Tech, ignorance seems to reign. While facts, bear the truth.

Fact. If more people, even in the school, were armed, then this young man, quite frankly, could have been stopped, long before he stopped himself. Even the thought that someone might be armed, might have kept him from going on his rampage.

In practical terms, think about this. How many people do you know, would go up to a police officer, in uniform, with their gun on their side, and attempt to rob, or kill them, or someone else, in their presence?? Only a complete lunatic would do such a thing.

And, depending on what this lunatic is doing, you have to have a means to stop him. And in this instance, force has to be met with equal, or greater force.

I have heard all types of explanations as to why we need gun control, and some of them, are right out of the twilight zone.

Not to go in to great detail about them, one reason is, 'that is what the police are for!' Well, if you will notice, the police, only show up, most of the time, after a crime has been committed. They are very seldom on the scene to stop a crime, unless they are called, and are available to come.

So, what is a person to do??

They are to be prepared to defend themselves, or their family.

Going to the old testament book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 3 we find a dissertation of times, when we need to pursue peace, and a time to go to war, a time to pick up stones (weapons), and a time to discard them.

In the times we are living in today, we need to be prepared to defend ourselves, from those that have intentions of doing us harm. And while I always put my faith in Christ, it is Christ that tells me to be prepared for those that might come against me, to do me, or someone close to me, harm. That is love, and it is mandated by God.

If you saw a person drowning, would you try to save them?? Well, if you saw a person getting ready to kill someone, in a criminal way, would try to stop them?? Well how are you going to do that, if you aren't armed??

Remember this, if every law abiding citizen, gave up their guns, then the criminals, would, by their very nature as lawbreakers, would still have them. And where would that leave us??

But, here again, foolishness takes the lead over common sense.

Why can't people see this?? Because God won't allow them to.

Why??

Because preachers, are letting everyone think that we need to keep a separation of between God, and government. Or keep our religious beliefs to ourselves, and not stand up for them, when it comes to government policy.

What we are saying is, God, we don’t need your advice on running this nation!! We can make it on our own.

Just what do you think you, or I could do without God’s help?? As the bible tells us, ‘In Him, we live, and move, and have our being.’[Acts 17:28] Or how about this one, ‘The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.’[Psa 24:1]. Or maybe this one will ring a bell, ‘I am the Vine, and you are the branches, he that abides in Me, and I in him, brings forth much fruit, for without Me, you can do nothing.’[John 15:5].

Now, with those few, of hundreds of verses which say the same thing, how in the world, do you think you can tell Him, we don’t need you, we can handle our own affairs just fine.

Every breath we breathe, is His. Everything we have, is His. That food on your table, that job you have, those kids. the clothes on your back, that money in the bank, your health and strength, the roof over your head, the car you drive, and everything else you can think of, belong to Him, and He is just allowing you the pleasure of enjoying them.

But now, you have gotten on your high horse and think like Nebuchadnezzar, that you did all of it on your own.

Well, guess what?? It’s payback time.

And how is God paying you back?? Simply by sitting by, and letting those things that are happening to you, happen, without stopping them.

You see, anything that happens to you, happens because God allows it, or prevents it.

Day and night, God is running interference for us, against the enemies that would do us harm. But, since some of you think you don’t need His help, He has stepped aside, and let them come on in and destroy you.

These preachers should know that, and be warning you about the foolishness of your ways. That is of course, if they can see it themselves.

But, either they can’t, or they have sold you out, for power, fame and prestige.

You would be surprised at all of the misery, and suffering, and lives being lost, that we could have avoided, both in this community, and the nation, if it weren’t for these preachers.

Time and again, the bible addresses the issue of what happens to those that abide by His will, and statutes, versus those that don’t.

There was a show called ‘The X-files’, and they had a phrase that appeared at the beginning of every show that says, ‘THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.’ And that is so true. The truth is out there, but, you have to be willing to search for it. You can’t leave it up to anyone else to do it for you.

Have you ever heard the saying, ‘knowledge is power??’ Well that is true. The ones with the knowledge, have power over the ones that don’t. And the one thing, those with power fear most, is others that have as much power as they have, because that lessens their power over them.

It is a sad fact, but true, that many of them, your leaders, are only in that position, because you believe they have your best interests at heart, when they really have their own best interests at heart. And those interests, are money, prestige and power.

In fact, the tactics they use, come right out of the slave master, Willy Lynch’s playbook. The only way to keep your power over the large numbers of slaves, is to keep them ignorant, and full of fear. And what is the message we get from them?? Fear, fear, and more fear. Fear of what might happen to you, if the Democrats don’t get their power back. And when they are in power, they want you to keep them in there.

But, they are the very ones that are responsible for the problems we are facing, because they represent everything that God, is against.

These preachers are supporting the very enemies of the Christ they are supposed to be serving.

You know, when a doctor, or lawyer, or some other professional, does something that injures us, we have laws where we can sue them for malpractice. Well, if push comes to shove, and we total up all of the injuries we have suffered, because of the malpractice of most of these preachers, then all of them would be serving life sentences for eternity.

As it is, God is keeping tabs on all that they have done, and are doing, and they may be enjoying things now, but the day will come, when payback will hit them hard and steady, in this life, and possibly the one to come.

They will have to answer for every life, and every soul, that ends up in hell, because they listened to, and followed the direction of these preachers.

Most of our politicians, follow the direction of these preachers as well, because, the preacher never tells them that what they are doing, is wrong, so they think they have God’s blessing.

To put it quite simply, preachers, have the greatest influence on what we accept, and reject as policy, and law in this nation. They have that influence over politicians, the news media, and the general public, because most of them, look to them for moral guidance, and they get none. What they get, is a false sense of what’s right. so they make laws, and support those that agree with them.

So, as you can see, these preachers hold the key to everything that either goes good, or bad for us, in this nation.

Wake up, black community, and America!! Get your bibles out and start reading them, especially the old testament. See what God has to say about what we are doing in this nation today. Read the book of Deuteronomy 28, the entire chapter. See what God says will happen to those that choose to follow His direction, in the first 14 verses. Then read what He says will happen to those that choose to go against His direction.

Question your leaders. Hold their feet to the fire, because your very souls, not to mention the souls of your children, and other loved ones are at stake.

Why does God do this?? Because it is what we have been asking for.

God, is a Righteous Judge, and by right, all of us deserve a whole lot more than we are getting. But God has also given us the opportunity to escape His Wrath, but the final choice is up to us.

Which direction do you want to follow?? I want to be on God’s Right side, because payback, especially His, is *&%#&&$!!
