Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Last month, when I left off, I was making you aware of the dangers of following the advice of individuals who, even though they are in leadership positions in our churches, need to be removed, or better yet, ignored.

The reason I say it like this is because, in some cases, that particular preacher may be a little misguided, but, is still in the process of learning from God. Mistakes do happen, even with the best of us, but, if a person is sincerely endeavoring to 'get it right', there is no need to summarily remove them. It is only those that refuse to admit their error, and will do whatever it takes to cover it up, that should be removed.

Not meaning to dirty up his name and reputation, because I have the highest respect for him, but the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., is one that, despite all his good works, made a mistake that essentially set the foundation for the 'left' in this country, to take the positions that they have on moral issues.

Without going in to a lot of detail, in one of his famous speeches entitled, 'The Drum Major Instinct', Dr. King, made reference to a passage of scripture found in [Mat 20:20-23, Mark 10:35-45].

In it, a woman asks Jesus to, when the time comes, let her 2 sons sit next to Him, one on the right, and the other on the left. Jesus rebuked her, by saying that she didn't know what she was asking.

Anyway, Dr. King went on to say that when the time comes, he just wants to be with Jesus, either on the right, or the left side of Him.

Now, this request, as honorable as it is, is a major reason that we find ourselves in the mess we are in today. The reason being, unless you have correctly studied the Bible, you will not see the problem.

That problem is centered on the Biblical definitions of God's/Christ's Right and Left Sides.

For in it, we find that those on His Right side, will enter in to Heaven, while those on His Left side, will be dispatched to hell, and eternal torment.

Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his RIGHT HAND, but the goats on the LEFT.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his RIGHT HAND, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the LEFT HAND, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

With this being the case, what Dr. King was saying is that he just wanted to be in His presence, and it didn't matter which side he was on.

However according to these scriptures, it makes a BIG DIFFERENCE!!! One will lead you to Heaven, and the other, to Hell!!

Now, the message that the ungodly get, seeing that they don't know the Bible is, 'it doesn't matter if you are the 'Right', or the 'Left', we are all going to wind up in Heaven anyway!!!'

Why??

Because Dr. King was a man of God, and he would tell us if there was any danger in our position. Yes he would, IF he realized what he was saying, and how it lined up with these scriptures.

And like I said in part 1, I would rather believe it was an oversight, rather than believe that he purposely took that position for the sole purpose of enriching himself.

Now while that may be the case for him, unfortunately, the majority of leadership in our community today, is in it strictly for purely selfish reasons.

We have preachers in the highest profile positions of leadership, that help promote positions, not only on moral, but, human relations, that have proven to be total disasters. Yet, because these positions garner them high praise from the community, they would rather defend those positions than speak/face the truth, you are dealing with a devil.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, may consider himself as doing what is best for the black community. Yet, if you consider what God has to say about all these issues that he supports, and rejects, you would quickly see that he is essentially 180 degrees out of phase with Him, on all of them.

Let's look at what Sharpton says, and what Christ says, and the results of what he says, on our community.

Sharpton looks at things along the line of race. That's it!!!

Now, why do I say this?? It is because of his reaction to tragic situations that befall, what he calls, 'people of color.'

When it involves a situation where the injury/death of a 'person of color', is determined to be at the hands of someone outside of our community, Sharpton is quick to respond, with the idea that this is some type of 'racial' incident, that needs to be addressed.

Depending on the seriousness of it, like the deaths of blacks, at the hands of white police, or a white private citizen, he will mount a campaign of protesting the death as being because of 'systemic racism', that is ingrained in this nation.

Now while some could make an argument for standing on that position, if you will consider the fact that for every instance like this, there are 50 or more instances of this same type of problem, with 1 exception, and that is, the person perpetrating the injury, is another 'person of color.' Then, Sharpton is nowhere to be found.

It is like he is only interested in getting attention, when it is something that can promote his position of 'racism!!' He doesn't care about the little children that are usually injured, or killed in drive-byes, or even in targeted attacks by other blacks.

Yet, as a supposed man of God, he should be. But, he is partial to dealing with his idea of what is important. That's it.

Back in 2007, there was a situation where a white radio talk show host by the name of Don Imus, had a guest on his show, that made some disparaging remarks about a black girl's basketball team, that sparked outrage in the black community.

Sharpton went on the attack and protested the parent company of the network that the program was aired on, and demanded that the show be canceled.

Some time later, it was, despite the apology from Mr. Imus.

Sharpton's reasons for the protest was that Imus, had disrespected 'our black women!!'

Well shortly after that statement was made, black women across the nation, went on the attack, not against Imus, but Sharpton.

The reason was, here he is talking about Imus disrespecting 'our black women', and demanding justice for them, while at the same time, black rappers are making millions of dollars, every day, calling them, black women, girls, and mothers, names hundreds of times worse than what Imus did, and yet, Sharpton says nothing.

Once again, he is partial in his reactions to white on black, versus black on black.

Those black women made such a 'stink' about what he was doing, that he mounted a mediocre protest, not against any of those companies that employ these rappers, but rather against black-owned Motown Records, that essentially is completely innocent of any of these issues.

From my perspective, I see it as a case where since these rappers probably pour 'big money' in to his organization, he doesn't want to 'kill the goose that lays the golden egg!!'

You can go to some of their concerts, and find him right there in the front row, enjoying himself.

Now, Jesus says among other things that those of us that are His, should not be partial to anyone, when it comes to right and wrong. Money, skin color, religion, gender, age, sex or whatever, have no place in dealing with right and wrong [James 2].

Yet, this is exactly what Sharpton, and those that subscribe to his way of thinking, are doing. And, in the eyes of Christ, it is sinful, and bringing His wrath on those that are aligned with him.

He has a talk show, and if anyone tries to call in and tell him that, he will abruptly hang up!!

My point is, he acts more like a two-bit hustler, than a man of God.

One of the off-shoots of his attacks on 'systemic racism', is that when it comes to the police, if they kill a black person, justifiably, he will still lead the person's family to sue.

This has 2 effects.

First, it makes police officers wary of using deadly force, because they could get fired and sued. That is, if they don't end up getting killed by a black suspect, because they hesitated a second, before drawing their weapon.

Secondly, when listening to a couple of young brothers talking about getting rich, one of them said, and the others agreed, was that all they need to do is get a policeman to injure them, and they could sue, and get rich.

This type mentality, is wide spread in this nation, and especially in the black community. People have the idea that the way to get easy money, is to get themselves injured in some sort of way, that will end uof p in a lawsuit, to get rich.

In our community, with the overwhelming numbers of people living at, or near the poverty line, these are more susceptible, to the idea of breaking free from that position. Couple that with trial lawyers, also in our community, willing to take any case that puts the poor black individual, against the rich white establishment, and many will jump at the chance.

However, in serious situations like a black person, looking for a big payday, attempts to confront any law enforcement official, especially if they happen to be white, then, the outcome might end up with the person, losing their life.

In over 90 percent of cases where a black person has lost their lives, one thing stands out. And, that is, the victim[if you want to call them that] entered in to a struggle with the officer[s], and ended up losing their lives.

Needless to say, it is a tragedy. But, all of this could have been prevented, if they had followed common sense.

But, people like Al Sharpton, and his trial-lawyer sidekick Ben Crump, continually stoke the fires of tragedies like this by inferring that what happened, is a result of 'systemic racism' by authorities, when it is actually 'systemic stupidity' in our community.

Common sense tells you, that if you are confronted by a police officer, the best thing to do, is follow their instructions. Sharpton takes the view that if you are stopped by a white police officer, you were stopped because of no other reason than you are black, and you shouldn't have to put up with it.

So the result is, a confrontation, that leaves the person critically injured, or dead. If anyone gets rich from it, it will usually be their survivors.

With what police officers have to put up with today, especially in our community, it is no wonder why crime is so rampant!!! The police just don't respond to a lot of situations, which usually allow a perpetrator to escape, and victimize someone else in the community. Then the community wants to know 'where are the police??'

When the police come to ask questions about criminal activity in the neighborhood, the people don't want to get involved. Then, if the police catch the individual, and he/she ends up getting killed, then the same community wants to support the idea that excessive force was used, and testify against the police.

All of this, and more, takes place in our community everyday, led by black leadership, that see a way for them to get rich, and popular at the expense these people's lives.

When foolishness, takes the place of common sense, then you ought to know you are in serious trouble.

Ask yourself this question. What would Jesus do??

You have men, and women, claiming to be doing the work of the Lord, but, the end result is wrecked lives and broken families, all because of these people.

In the end, it's going to come down to these leaders or us, that has to go. I say, it's them.
