The ACLU
THEY DON'T HAVE A CLU(E)

The other day, I was reading a newspaper article, dealing with the ACLU and the city of Troy, MI.

It appears, that the ACLU, made a threat to the city, about their (Troy's) plans to observe National Prayer Day, by flying a flag, on, what I think is the city courthouse grounds. The ACLU, told them that they planned to sue them, for violating, the Constitutional rule of separation of Church and state. As of this printing, I do not know if the city changed its plans or not. But, it is not the city I want to talk about, it is the ACLU.

The ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), is an organization, that is supposedly, the savior of the little guy out here, that seems to be getting trampled down by others because he is not doing, or acting, like the rest of us. Because we say we don't like something, and pass a law against it, and it happens to be what this little guy likes doing, then the ACLU comes in, and tries to get that law done away with. They use the term, unconstitutional, to win their arguments. They are the defenders of those, that may not have enough money to hire a good attorney. So they come in, and will do it for little or nothing, depending on the type of case it is.

Now, while it may seem that the ACLU, is just what we need, to help us keep government from running amuck, and trampling our rights, most people, don't have (a)clu(e), of what the agenda of this organization is.

Though it seems to be there to help us, that is actually a smokescreen, for what they really are trying to do.

What they are trying to do, is undermine all of the laws, for moral behavior, and just plain decency. To put it quite bluntly, they are, what I would call, the devil's advocate.

Why would I say this??? Because most of their challenges to the laws that we abide by, are usually brought to trial on a separation of church and state, issue.

Let's look at some of the cases that they tend to take . Prayer in the public schools. Prayer at graduation ceremonies. Prayer in any public building. Anything that represents a religious symbol, or saying. No written material, or pictures, implying any recognition of God, in any public places or on their grounds. This includes nativity scenes at Christmas.

But, it goes further than that. In our courts, bringing a person to trial, on a charge of doing something immoral, like committing adultery, fornication, nudity, or some other thing that we as a society, deem to be wrong, will usually bring a challenge from the ACLU, asking, 'by who's moral standards, are you accusing this person???' If an attorney says anything, that can be interpreted that the accused's actions violated God's moral law, the ACLU will get the case dismissed, because you are mixing God, and your religious beliefs, in to a trial, where you are trying to make someone live according to how you think they should live. In short, forcing your religious beliefs on them.

It goes further than this. They work in collaboration with judges, that hold to their views. Many judges, who are supposed to be unbiased, tend to get the majority of ACLU cases. It is very rare that the ACLU loses in these judges courts.

However, the thing I want you to see, is the way a lot of these cases come up.

First, they look for someone, who is dissatisfied with a law, that it, the ACLU, wants to get rid of.

These people, actually go out and solicit clients. Whether the person has money or not, the ACLU will take the job for nothing, all for the sake of publicity, and building their business.

Some times, if they can't find anyone in the locality they are in, they will find someone outside of that city, or state, and pay their expenses to come to that locale, and challenge the law.

Then, they get a judge, (one of theirs, hopefully), to take the case. Then, they parade this individual, who in most instances, is coached, on what to say, and how to act, before a jury, to plead their case.

Now, we have a jury, of average thinking individuals, who listen to the ACLU lawyers, tell them, 'if the government, can do this, to this person, then they can do it to you, as well.' What this is, is a fear tactic. They know, that most of us, want little or no government in our lives, so the threat of government taking away someone's right to do something, is distasteful to them, so they rule in favor of the plaintiff.

But, in all too many instances, the jury, has abandoned common sense, for the emotion of the moment. They don't realize that they have just given their support, to something, that is destroying all of us. Ignorance. Ignorance of what??? What God has to say about it. The bible says, whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap [Ga 6:7] None of them, especially the ACLU, know the full ramifications of what they are doing. They don't have (a)clu(e).

The ACLU, is trying to dismantle our moral laws, to tear down this nation, and make us, little more than a group of lawless savages, that are fit for the type of government we see in socialist countries, Of course, to hear them tell it, that is what they are trying to protect us from.

But, look at it from this standpoint. While we don't like government, dipping in to our lives, where would we be, without laws??? Especially, God's laws. As mentioned earlier, we would be a bunch of savages. Everything that we felt likedoing, we would do. And that, my friends is what the world was like, when God destroyed it in the time of Noah. (Ge 6:5)And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Any civilized society, must, have a standard to live by, or become little more than the animals in the jungle. And some of them, the animals, have more sense of right and wrong, than some of us. And this is the problem, these few, tend to whine, moan, groan and complain that they should be allowed to do what they want, as long as they are not causing others any harm. But, they don't realize that, even though they may not directly affect us, they indirectly affect us. How?? Because God, judges a nation, based on what it allows to go on, within its realm of influence.

The ACLU, does not believe this, because they don't believe in God. This is why, their major attacks on our laws, are brought on the grounds of 'separation of church and state.' This too, is a smokescreen. What they are really saying they want, is a separation of 'God" and state.

The focus of their attacks, is only on one particular type of religious belief, and that is the Christian belief. Why do I say this??? Look at these challenges, and what they excuse,

They sued schools to make them take down pictures of Jesus Christ, and the ten commandments, from display on their walls, and stopped prayer in the schools. Yet, if a school invites a representative of any other religion to talk to their students, there is no challenge.

Recently, a young lady, who is a confessed witch, who admits she practices her religion, and should be allowed to wear her religious symbols and makeup in school, was told she had to leave her religious things outside of the school, is suing that school, and guess who her lawyers are??? Right, the ACLU. Now picture this. Another student, a few years ago, came to school with a picture of Jesus Christ, on his T-shirt, and he was sent home to change shirts. The ACLU was no where around. Several children, of the Nation of Islam religion, and others, come to school dressed in their religious clothing, and they are accepted. Let a child come in with a cross around their neck, and they will have to take it off.

Schools have invited people of other religions, even witches, in to talk to their students, no problem. Invite a Christian in to do the same thing, and you have a problem. The, not (a)clu(e), ACLU.

These people abandon, even common sense. We complain about drunk drivers on the road, so the police set up check lanes, to try to deter the problem. The ACLU, has the police program, scrapped. People that commit sex crimes, especially against children, need to be kept track of, and their neighbors, need to know who is living around their children. The ACLU says, no!!! It's unconstitutional.

They are notorious for protecting the rights of those, that society needs to be rid of. I'm talking about criminals.

One of their main goals, is to get rid of capital punishment. They call it 'cruel and unusual punishment.' They feel, that if a person murders someone, that they should be put in prison, and the law abiding citizens in this nation, should take care of them, the rest of their lives. Never mind the victims, or their families. The criminal must be treated with kid gloves. We wouldn't want to do anything to make them feel uncomfortable. Of course, if you say, God says to put them to death [GEN. 9:6], you have just crossed the line. You can't use God, and the bible. That is why people call capital punishment, murder. Without knowing what God has to say about it, that is just what it seems like.

The ACLU, has influence all the way up to, and including the president. Usually, the Democratic party, supports all this garbage, because going against the ACLU, says that you are a person, that does have values, and does not think government, should be taking care of people, because of their own ignorance.

But, if you think this is bad, there is something a lot worse.

The 'worse' is, that there are actually preachers, that fall for this garbage, and support it. That's right, preachers. I'm talking about supposed to be Christian, preachers.

Many times, I have seen preachers standing with them (the ACLU) in opposition to school prayer, capital punishment, and other situations, that any one, with common sense, would be supporting. In fact, a lot of preachers, have actually hired this group, to defend their rights. My God!!! What in the world can they be thinking??? Evidently, they don't have (a) clu(e). Here you have an organization, that is doing all that it can do, to destroy the church, and you have preachers, joining with them.

People say, when they hear bad things about the ACLU, ' well, they did this for the church, and that for the needy, so how can you call them, the devil's advocates???'

The apostle Paul wrote, [2Co 2:11]Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. He was saying, that the Church, knows the devices (wiles, tricks, and deceptions), of the devil. [Eph 6:11-12] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

What we have, is, an organization, that, in order to gain acceptance in all arenas, will, on occasion, do some good, only to the extent, of gaining our trust, so we will let our guard down, then they can drive the knife, in our backs.

That's the same thing the devil does. Jesus said, [St. Jo 10:10] The thief, comes not but for to steal, kill and destroy, ... If you think the devil means you any good, then you are in for a rude awakening. All you have to do, is look at what he did, to Adam and Eve. He hasn't changed his basic tactics, in all these years. He has just refined them. Therefore, if you are not spiritually in tune with God, you will fall for his actions, and be destroyed. For the bible says, [Am 3:3] Can two walk together, except they be agreed? By joining with them, in any activity, you are, in effect becoming part of their deeds. And, by doing so, you are running in to the very real possibility of having God, against you. Then, whatcha' gonna do???

As I said earlier, and will keep saying, the ACLU, is the enemy of God, good, morality, law and order, decency, and all things that make this nation, and it's people, the most blessed people on this earth, bar none.

Anybody, that doesn't agree with this, doesn't have (a) clue.
