IT'S AN ELECTION YEAR, AND THE DEMS, ARE AT IT AGAIN, BIG TIME!!!
As we start off this new millennium, we are also gearing up for the 2000 presidential election in November.

And while this is the usual thing, there are some very unusual things going on, that may very well, cause the voting public to demand changes in the way people are elected to this high office.

What is so unusual about this election??? Well the masters of trickery and deception, the Democrats, in order to have a better chance of getting their man, Al Gore, in to office, have augmented a new strategy. They have closed their primaries, the voting procedure, that determines who, from their party, will get the nomination, based on delegates, to represent them in the November elections.

Right now, they favor, the vice president. But, they realize, that if the front runner of the Republican party, George Bush Jr., is the nominee, that their candidate, won't stand a chance.

So, they had to come up with a way to knock him, Bush, out of the running. So, what they have done, is to close their primaries, and urge their constituents, to vote in the Republican primaries, for Bush's chief opponent, Sen. John McCain. That way, if enough Democrats vote for him, then, he would be in a position to beat Bush, and get the nomination. Gore, then, would have a better than even chance to win the office.

Now, while all of this is legal, there is one problem, that many in this nation fail to understand.

First, only the votes of registered Republican voters will be used to pick the candidate. That means, even though McCain is beating Bush in some key states, by reason of Democrats, and Independents, voting for him, Bush is far ahead in the delegate count, among republicans, the only statistic that matters.

The reason for this is simple. If this tactic was allowed to stand, then the people, Democrats, and Independents could vote for McCain, to get him the nomination, then later, in the November election, switch back and vote for Gore, to help the Democrats hold on to the presidency.

Now, I am sure, that the 'Dems' know this. And, I am also sure, that the majority of the voting public, does not. And here lies the problem. If they don't know about it, and they overwhelmingly vote for McCain, as the candidate for the Republican party, and Bush gets the nod, as he should, then the public, will see this as the Republicans thumbing their noses in their faces, and will storm the polls and vote for Gore.

Pretty slick, don't you think???

This should show you, just how ignorant, the Democrats think you are. Which, in my estimation, is the biggest slap in the face, of all.

Yet, in the past, many of you have proven them to be right, as you overwhelmingly vote them in to office, and back everything they say, without question.

All they have to do, is tell you some lie, and you believe it. No matter how outrageous it is.

The bible says 'the people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.' [Hos 4:6] This lack of knowledge, though talking about the things of God, also refer to a simple truth that knowledge, leads to wisdom, and wisdom, leads to prosperity, and blessing.

The Democrats, are trying to keep you from prospering, because if you did, then you won't be desperate enough to keep them in power, which is what they want.

Their whole agenda, or rather that of the leadership of the party, is to keep as many people as possible, under their control, and dependent on government.

If you think that they really are trying to help you, then why is it that they are always coming up with programs, that on the surface, appear to be helping you, but, in reality, are costing you more money, through higher taxes.

Their programs invade the privacy of your family, and tell you what you can and can't do with your own children. Their legislation tells you that you can't protect yourself, in your own home, if someone breaks in. They use your money, especially if you are a Christian, to support the majority of things that God says are sin, and directly attack your beliefs. They align themselves with those that really want to see you, and your beliefs, trampled under foot.

And yet, you, yes you, still overlook their lying, and their trickery, and don't even hold them accountable for anything, because they tell you, that the Republicans, are your enemy, and you need to help them defeat them.

It's past time for a reality check. Are we, no, you, going to start off this millennium, with more of the same thing?? Is it going to be, business as usual??? Only you can be the judge of that.

The bible says, to the Christian, 'Be not unequally yoked with the unbelievers (the ungodly) [2Cor 6:14-18]. And 'How can light, walk with darkness. And, 'How can two walk together, except they be agreed?? [Amos 3:3]'

When you compromise the word of God, to get something, you lose, all the way around.

The bible says, you will reap what you sow [Gal 6:7], and many of you, are getting exactly what you deserve, and you don't like it, do you.

The thing is, when you complain about how things are going, your Democrat friends, tell you, it's the Republicans that are the problem, along with the Christian right. You can believe that lie, if you want to.
If you put faith in these types of people, then I wonder, just how committed to God, you really are.
