GOD BLESS AMERICA???
DON'T COUNT ON IT!!!!!!!

GOD, BLESS AMERICA, LAND THAT I LOVE, STAND BESIDE HER, AND GUIDE HER........FROM THE MOUNTAINS, TO THE PRAIRIES, TO THE OCEANS, WHITE WITH FOAM. GOD BLESS AMERICA, MY HOME SWEET HOME, GOD BLESS AMERICA, MY HOME SWEET HOME.

How fitting that song is. A song that says it all. A song that millions in this nation, and around the world know and sing many times. It is an acknowledgment of the fact that America can only be what it has been, the land of the free, and the home of the brave, and a place of refuge for all, as long as God sees fit to bless it. Without His blessing, we would not have the position of the world's most powerful and richest nation.

Every self-respecting American, that holds to the principles that this song represents, has a core belief that God is our source of prosperity. Even our money, has 'In God We Trust" emblazoned on it. Our National Anthem, has a verse that says "God shed His grace on Thee'. All of these things are a recognition of the blessings and power of God.

But, today, all of that is changing. There is a new generation of American. There are those that still sing the song, yet they don't hold to the ideals that those of the older generations believed in. In fact, they resent those ideals and have begun a campaign to change everything that has made this nation great, including God's laws and statutes. They seek to revise the laws, to reflect their own views. They have turned this nation to one, whose strengths, are sin and Godlessness. And yet, they stand up and sing to God, asking Him to bless this mess.

Fools!!! Nothing but fools!!!! If they think God will do it, then they are saying that God is dumber than they are. Who do they think God Is??? Do they think He is a doddering old has-been that is suffering from Alzheimer's disease or something??? Do they think He has lost control of things???

Why do I say that we shouldn't look to God to bless this nation???

Here is just a short list of why the handwriting is on the wall.

1. The legalization of the slaughter of over 1.5 million human lives per year through abortion since the courts gave the go ahead in 1972. That is over 33 million babies, and counting. These are innocent lives I'm talking about here. While at the same time, we rally around a person that is scheduled to be executed for murder, and call it cruel and unusual punishment. Protect the guilty and murder the innocent. And you expect God to bless this nation???

2. Enacting legislation that forbids prayer in the public schools of this nation, so our kids can get a chance to be in an environment that recognizes God. Yet, these same institutions, allow all sorts of ungodly things to go on within their walls, that are not what God condones. In short, reject God, and bring in the devil. And you expect God to bless this nation???

3. Homosexuality and lesbianism. An abomination to God, yet condoned by many in our nation, so much so, that laws are on the books, legalizing these ungodly relationships, and punishing those that dare to speak against them. Even some churches, have taken to performing same sex marriages , and even ordaining active gay men and women. And you expect God to bless this nation???

4. The spread of pornography, has exploded everywhere, even over the internet, so much so, that no one is safe from it. Yet, very few politicians have guts enough to say they will pass legislation to stop it, for fear of the repercussions at the ballot box. They care more about that, than they do our kids, who are exposed to, and even exploited by it. And you expect God to bless this nation???

5. We have laws on the books, that elevate animals, insects, plants, trees, and earth, to a level, that is equal to, or greater than man, who is made in the image of God. You can be jailed and/or fined, for chopping down a tree, or killing a wolf, that is attacking you or your cattle, or for killing an insect, that is protected by law, but nobody says much about your rights to protect your life or property. And you expect God to bless this nation???

6. Our children are exposed, in school, to sex-education, many times, against the parents' wishes, because some educator with a big head, thinks he knows more about what our kids need, than God does. They will teach them about things that will lead them in to sin, but reject anything that will let them know that God only approves of it, in a marital situation. Not only that, but they are telling them that homosexuality, which is an abomination to God, is a viable alternative lifestyle. And you expect God to bless this nation???

7. When choosing our leaders, and the politicians that represent us, we tend to look for someone that has little or no stand against those things that are ungodly. Oh, they may go to church, but they practice their religion at home. When they are on the job, they leave God out of it. They call it 'SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE', which translated, means 'SEPARATION OF GOD AND STATE.' So, what they want is for God to bless this nation, while they keep Him out of its affairs. And you expect God to bless this nation???

8. The most famous people in this country, are those that live lifestyles of total debauchery, filth, and foolishness. Recording artists, that sing about sex and violence. Movie stars and other entertainers, that openly profess to be gay, or that sleep around with whoever, and whenever, are held in high esteem. They all promote the idea of, 'IF IT FEELS GOOD, DO IT.' Politicians and even some so-called preachers, promote and back all of this nonsense. And you expect God to bless this nation???

9. Idolatry, whoremongering, drunkenness, liars, murderers, adulterers and fornicators. Our motto is, 'IF GOD HATES IT, DO IT.' And you expect God to bless this nation???

10. Let some slick talking, shady, fool, come to you and say they will solve your problems for you, and you will flock to him like bees to honey. But let a man or woman of God, come to you, and tell you 'Thus saith the Lord, repent, and trust in Jesus Christ', and you want to run them out of town. And you expect God to bless this nation???

America!!!! Give me a break.

People say, 'those that forget the past, are doomed to repeat it.' Isn't that right???

Well, it seems to be true in our case. There was another powerful nation that was guilty of the same things America is, and let's see what happened to them. That nation, was Israel.

Israel, a nation that was brought forth out of the seed of a man named Abraham. God had made a covenant with him, saying (Ge 22:16).... By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: (Ge 22:17) That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; (Ge 22:18) And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

That promise was fulfilled in Abraham's grandson Jacob. (Ge 35:10) And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. (Ge 35:11) And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; (Ge 35:12) And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

Israel then went forth and began conquering and possessing land, whose inhabitants were enemies of God. They were the ungodly. These nations, were guilty of idolatry, fornication, adultery, abominable acts like homosexuality, abortion, incest, rape, murder, drunkenness, witchcraft, and a whole litany of sins. It was because of their acts, that God judged, and delivered them in to the hands of His chosen people Israel.

Israel, was able to conquer the armies of these nations, who outnumbered them 100 to 1 or more. How??? Because God backed them up, and fought for them. Because they had men as their leaders, that adhered to the commandments that God had set before them.

The same thing can be said for America. Regardless of what your history books tell you. Men, seeking to find a place where they could enjoy religious freedom, and be free from a sort of tyranny, discovered this nation, and set up little colonies, that grew in to what we now call the United States of America. These men, and women, sought to worship God, the way the bible says. Trusting in Him to lead them, and bless them. Worshipping Him, and not being forced to honor and worship a man. Because of that desire, they were able to overcome all sorts of obstacles like storms, attacks from hostile forces that came from their homeland, to keep them in bondage to a man, and more. All because God blessed them. No, they were not perfect, but they had that desire to 'do the right thing' according to God's word.

But, Israel, began to get cocky. They began to think that their victories, were because of their own strength, and not God's. They had forgotten how God delivered them from the bondage of Egypt. They forgot how He destroyed Pharaoh's army in the Red Sea, after He parted it for them, so they could cross on dry land. But, because of their leaders, God still blessed them.

However, as they began to tell their leaders, that they wanted a king, like other nations had, that was showing that they didn't want a leader that God had chosen for them, but one that they had chosen.

Same thing in America. Many in this nation, don't want men or women, who have a strictly biblical lifestyle, that put their faith in Jesus Christ. No. They want one that is like them. Ungodly, slick, two faced, quick to lie and cheat. Someone who has slept around, and cheated on their spouse. In other words, they want a devil, like them.

As time went on, Israel got further and further away from God's laws, and as a result, they became no better than the ones, who they had conquered. So, God, doing the righteous thing, let them be conquered, and put in to bondage. This scenario, was repeated many times. Each time they got in to bondage, or trouble, they sought God for deliverance. And when they repented, He delivered them.

America, is no different. Except, we have not been conquered, yet. But, we are marching down the same paths that Israel did. Look at the present leader of this nation.

Here is a man, that allegedly, has had affairs with several women, outside of marriage. Is embroiled in who knows how many other scandals. He says one thing one day, then acts like he never said it, or contradicts himself, the next day. And when he is investigated, his supporters blame the religious right, and bible believing Christians, that demand a leader that is godly. The more the scandal, the more popular he becomes.

Most so-called Christians, in direct contradiction of God's word, join with the ungodly, to choose a man or woman, that the ungodly say is the right one. (2Co 6:14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

(2Co 6:15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

(2Co 6:16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

(2Co 6:17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

(2Co 6:18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Hundreds of millions of people in this country, claim to be Christians, yet at the ballot box, they tend to get amnesia, when it comes to what God says. They join forces with those that have the most ungodly lifestyles, Homosexuals, abortion rights advocates, idolaters, fornicators, liars, drunkards, rapists, those that seek to enslave the whole nation(if possible), the Hellyhood (Hollywood) crowd that promote all sorts of ungodliness.

While no political party is perfect, truly there is one that is striving more to adhere to the basics of God's word than the other. In political discussions and campaigns, the Christians in one party, are continually trying to run down the Christians of the other party, talking about them being too rigid in their stands on morality, and character. They call them names like, 'THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT.' They detest any thing, or anybody that the 'right' supports.

And, just what is it, that these Christians (the religious right)support?? Laws, that allow, not force, people to pray and read their bibles wherever they feel the need to do so. It's called freedom of speech.

They support politicians that have a clear moral stand. One whose lifestyle, is evidence of a God fearing individual, who wants to tear down the strongholds that the devil has built up in this nation, like abortion, gay rights, adulterous lifestyles, being accepted as OK, and other things that are steeped in unrighteousness.

These are the same things that Jesus says we need to be standing for. In fact, He stood for them, and we know what happened to Him. He was persecuted, and crucified. Before He left us, He said something that we need to remember about the godly, and their ideals. (Jo 15:17) These things I command you, that ye love one another.
        
(Jo 15:18) If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

(Jo 15:19) If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I HAVE CHOSEN YOU out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

(Jo 15:20) Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. IF THEY HAVE PERSECUTED ME, THEY WILL ALSO PERSECUTE YOU; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

(Jo 15:21) But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

(Jo 15:22) If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but NOW THEY HAVE NO CLOKE FOR THEIR SIN.
        
There it is. The 'RELIGIOUS RIGHT', are being persecuted for standing up for what Jesus says is "right". Thus the name, 'religious right.' How fitting.
You see how dumb the devil is??? He names us for what we always are, when we stand up for Jesus, 'RIGHT.'

And, you see how blind, he has made these Christians that are in allegiance with the ungodly??? They don't even recognize it, even when it is right there in front of their eyes.

The problem is, as Jesus mentioned above, is that those that persecuted Him, did so, because He was convicting them of their wrongdoing. He made them feel uncomfortable. While He was around, all He talked about, and lived, was Godliness. They didn't want that. So they did what they did, to get rid of Him. But, He kept coming back. Finally, they devised, and carried out a plan to totally get rid of Him. They crucified Him.

Today, in America, we have pretty much the same thing going on. The battle grounds and the issues, are the same thing. The ungodly want to feel comfortable in their sin. They will do whatever it takes to get rid of anyone that makes them feel uncomfortable. That is why we have the 'SEPARATION OF GOD AND STATE', interpretation of the First Amendment of the Constitution, being touted everytime some Godly people, (religious right) try to get people elected that have a moral stand on the issues that are important to us. The ungodly don't want them. They don't mind a person being a Christian, if they remain (in the closet). 'Keep your religion to yourself', they say, 'we don't want to hear it.' So, to get along, many Christians, have compromised God's principles, and joined in with the ungodly, so that they won't be persecuted. Well, these Christians are going to be in for a rude awakening. Because, the handwriting, is on the wall.

This nation, is in for trouble, big time. It has already been judged, and God is in the process of meting out its punishment..

Have you noticed how many of our children are being killed, committing suicide, overdosing on drugs and are in jail for violent crimes????

Have you noticed how the economy and the number of jobs today, is nothing like it was back in the 60's and early 70's???

Have you noticed that many of the things we held in high esteem, and bragged about, have been torn down??? The automobile industry, for example. It provided jobs aplenty for a whole lot of people. We were the premiere auto manufacturing nation in the world. Now, that title belongs to Japan, and we are trying to catch up with them.

At one time unions, were powerful. They were formed, to combat the unfair work practices of big employers, like Ford, back in the 40's. Every employer, began to realize, that the workers, when united, could stop them in their tracks, if they were doing something that was not right, concerning the workers' safety, or wages. But, today, all of that is essentially gone. Not because of the Republicans, and not because of greedy corporations, but because the workers in this nation, began to hold up unions, as their god. They began to say, 'without the unions, we would not survive.' God, is not going to tolerate that.

Government programs, which were designed to help the truly needy, are being eliminated. Not by the Republicans, but by the fact that these programs, became 'god' to them. Once again, people began to trust in the government, more than giving God, His just recognition. God, is not going to tolerate that.

America, once the most feared nation in the world, has now become easy pickings for third world nations. Terrorists bomb and kill our citizens, whenever, and wherever they feel like it, and our hands are tied, why?? Because America has become little more than Sodom and Gamorrah was, back in the days of Abraham, when God destroyed it.

Judgment is already on this nation, and it is going to get worse. As they used to say, 'you ain't seen nothin' yet.' The troubles this nation faces, are going to get worse and worse. Every thing that is idolized, or held in high esteem by the ungodly, and those that play church, is going to be torn down. The day of straddling the fence, for the Christian, is over. You are either going to have to get right, with God, or perish.

This nation, and the world, for that matter, are showing God, that they don't want any parts of Him, or His children, and one day soon, He is going to call them home, to be with Him, then, all hell will break loose. (Mt 24:21) For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The only hope for all, is Jesus Christ. And that hope, is not America avoiding judgment, but that the individual, will be taken away before it comes. Just as God removed Noah, before the flood, just as He removed Lot, before He destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah, He will remove the Church, before He punishes America, and the world.

God has given the world, opportunity after opportunity to get right, and just like Israel, we would do it until things got better, then we would go right back in to sin. So, time is running out.

God bless America???? Don't count on it!!!!
