no vision, no future 10

SCRIPTURE - PRV. 29:18, HOS. 4:6                                                                                                          OCTOBER, 2016

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,
that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
SUBJECT - NO VISION, NO FUTURE!!! [PT. 10]
Last month, I ended the message talking about how most preachers, who are not anointed by God, but rather indoctrinated by the gospel of 'the new gods' have mixed their doctrine with the Word of God, and have begun to put God's Word in second place behind what man says.

And, since Christ is the Word of God made flesh, they have put Him behind as well.

This, my friends, is a disastrous thing to do because what you have here is a direct violation of the first commandment which states, Exodus 20:1-6 [paraphrasing], that we are to have no other gods before Him. And, if we do, then that means that we hate Him.

It is this part that I want to focus on this month.

Remember, the whole idea of this series, as the title states is to give you, the reader, a clear vision of God, and how He has things set up, so that you and yours can be blessed in the future.

The main thing is this. If you want what God has for you, then you have to be about doing what He says for you to do. If you half step, or go against that, then your future is going to be bleak, both in this life, and the one to come.

I had started identifying how that in order to 'get along' with those of other religions, most preachers tend to compromise on certain biblical truths by mentioning them very little, if at all, depending on the situation.

As I said, this is like taking only those parts of Christ's teachings, that fit with the philosophy of the 'new gods', whose idea of a Utopian society rests in the notion that any thing that is offensive, or divisive, needs to be done away with.

Well, all one has to do is pick up a bible, and right away, that is going to be offensive to over half of the people on this earth.

Why???

Because the bible represents Christ, from Genesis 1:1 through Revelations 22:21.

And the primary message it says about Him is not only is He the only way for any one to Get to God/Heaven [John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.], He is God!!! [John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God., John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the

Father,) full of grace and truth.

So, for those that don't believe that there is a God, which alone accounts for over half of the population of the earth, that is a problem right there. But, if you add on the fact that for those that believe in a god, or gods, the fact that Christ is presented as not only the Son of God, but God, this subjugates their gods to a status, below Him. He is King of kings, Lord of lords, and God of gods. Meaning He is above all!!!

So, what is a person to do???

Well, to keep from offending these other people, these preachers tell their people to keep it to yourselves. No need to brag about it!!!

Let me ask you this!!

If you found a million dollars, would you tell people?? What if you got healed from cancer?? Would you tell somebody?? Well, if you got saved, would you keep that to yourself!!

When we are told to 'Go in to the whole world and preach the Gospel', keeping quiet is at total odds to that commission.

In fact, as one passage of scripture says, keeping quiet about Him, translates in to your being ashamed of Him. And He replies He will be ashamed of you[Mat. 10:32-33].

In fact, the very next verse says something that would make these preachers cringe. Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

The message of Christ is to do the exact opposite of what these preachers want to do.

Any one outside of the Church that looks at all the persecution that it is going through today would tell you that its problem is, it denigrates those of other faiths, and puts itself in the position of being the only pathway to Heaven.

Their remedy is that it needs to tone it down, and find something that all can agree on, then the persecution will go away.

That is a perfectly logical response to the problem, if there was no God, to have to answer to.

But, those of us that have the correct vision of God, know that, that type of solution is a disaster.

Here's how??

All of mankind's problems, come from one source, and that is Satan, or the Devil.

And, from the beginning of man's existence, he has done everything he can to separate man from God.

A look at Genesis 3, tells us how he accomplished that feat.

In his encounter with Eve, 2 things are noteworthy. The first is, after questioning Eve, Eve responded by saying that God commanded them

not to eat, or touch the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden.

This was not what God said.

Look at these 2 scriptures.

Ge 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Ge 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Now, while both seem to say the same thing, Eve added something that was not true. She said they were not to eat, or touch, it.

Now, while that seems to convey a perfectly logical idea, it opens the door up for disaster because, when God speaks, He says what He means, and means what He says.

When people get in to adding to, or taking away from something God says, then there is a problem because are trying to correct Him.

Satan then responded with the second problem, when he told her that they would not die.

Ge 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Here we see he speaks totally contrary to what God says.

The two major problems we have in this world today, are rooted in people contradicting God's Word, adding to, or taking away from It.

When this happens, it ceases to be His Word, but ours. And as a result, He will not back it. For we have become God's teacher, telling Him what to say and how to say it.

Can you imagine what would happen if God had to be told by us what to say and how and when to say it??

Well, you don't have to imagine it, it is all around us today.

You can go to bible bookstores, turn on the TV or radio, or even go to a church, and hear, or read a book by some educated, unanointed preacher, which promises to be the path to peace and prosperity. And judging by the crowds of people that subscribe to this message from hell, and that is where it originated, if a person wanted to find a dream job that would make them rich, then, this message would fill the bill, nicely.

Now, I have mentioned several times that when a preacher is anointed by God, then, there will be a clear vision of that fact, from God, so that the individual's ministry will bear witness to that fact.

On the other hand, if a person is not anointed by God, then their ministry, despite all the accolades that man might bestow on them, will bear little evidence of God's Blessing.

Just exactly what am I talking about you say!!??

Well, if we look at just exactly what the Church is here on earth for, we will find that it is here to continue the Work that Christ did, while He walked among us.

And just exactly what was that Work??

It was to bring man and God back together again by way of His shed blood to atone for man's sins against the Father, that had alienated him from God.

This plan of God's was conceived before the foundation of the earth. God had prepared for the possibility that man would possibly fail to follow God's rules, and that there would have to be a way for man to be brought back in to the presence of the Father, blameless.

You see, our nature, thanks to Adam, essentially cuts us off from the benefits that God had originally designed for us to receive.

You see, if Adam had not sinned disobeyed God's instructions, [notice, it was not Eve that put us in this mess, but him], then Adam and Eve would still be alive today. This is because the first benefit of our being obedient to God, is eternal life.

God never meant for us to die. In fact, if you look at what God told Adam in Ge 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

It was only after Adam disobeyed God that things like sickness, disease, infirmity, poverty, along with all the other physical, spiritual, mental and social ills along with death, entered in to the picture.

And who was the author of this rebellion against God?? Satan [the serpent].

And, as I mentioned earlier, he did it by manipulating the woman, who in turn, manipulated Adam to disobey God's instruction. Notice, it was only 1 thing that they were required not to do.

Anyway, now that the curses of Adam's disobedience are rampant all over the earth, something had to be done to put a stop to it.

Enter Christ, and later the Church.

A quick look at the ministry of Christ shows us that while He was here, functioning as a religious leader, He did things that showed every one that He was, what Israel was looking for, and that was, the Messiah.

But, how many of you know that anyone can come along and declare who they are, and what their message is. The proof of the anointing being on an individual, is not what they are saying, but rather the manifestation of God's Power in their ministry.

Imagine this.

You have 2 churches. One is a large beautifully designed building that has over 1000 people as members and is air conditioned with stained glass windows and is a pillar of the community. It is pastored by a man who, has all sorts of degrees behind his name. He was educated in one of the most prestigious theological seminaries, in this nation.

Then, you have a little store front church, that has a membership of about 100 people. It doesn't look anything like a church, and you would miss it if you didn't look hard enough. It is pastored by a man with only a high school education.

Now, most would say they would prefer to attend the larger church with all its amenities, and its educated pastor.

Now, think about this.

A blind person goes in to this large church, and asks for some food, clothing or some other items that would help him to live a modest life, on the streets, or even be sheltered, which the church gladly provides for him. After that, he leaves, satisfied that he has received what he needed, and the church provided it.

The next day, this same man, happens in to this little storefront church, and asks for the same things that he got from the larger church the day before.

However, one of the members, prays for the man, and immediately his sight comes back, and, he is able not only to leave with all the things he desired, but something he wasn't expecting. His sight.

What made the difference in these 2 instances??? The anointing!!!

More, next month!!!
