SCRIPTURE - Ro 12 : 2                                                      AUGUST, 1999

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye might prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

SUBJECT - I'M POLITICALLY INCORRECT, AND PROUD OF IT

Picture a politician, standing before a large assembly of people, as he is trying to persuade them to vote for him in the upcoming election. He is standing there answering questions, and a woman stands up and introduces herself as a member of the National Organization of Women (NOW), and she wants to know where he stands on abortion. He says 'I firmly believe in a woman's right to make decisions concerning her own body. Government, has no business dictating to a woman, what she can, and can't do with her body.'

Then, someone else stands up, and introduces themselves as a member of the Triangle Foundtion, a gay rights group. They ask, where does he stand on the issue of gay rights. His response is, 'I believe that the current laws concerning gays, and issues that are important to them, are too weak. Elect me, and I will do my best, to strengthen them. Everybody has a right to pursue their own individual lifestyle, without persecution from others.'

Then, another person stands up, and says they represent the unions, and want to know just what the candidate will do for them. His response is, 'I will see to it that all of our laborers, that are the true backbone of this nation, get protection from employers that line their pockets with profits, while our blue collar men, and yes, women, can barely make it. The rich, have been getting away with too much lately. Elect me, and that will change.'

Then, we have someone from the groups, representing senior citizens. They ask what he will do concerning their issues. He responds with something like this, ' Our seniors, the ones that have given their youth, sweat, tears and blood, to get this nation where it is today, we owe you our greatest depth of gratitude. And we need to be doing more to show it. Too many of us, are riding on the back of what you have done, yet, when it comes to looking out for you, we tend to just want you to get out of our sight. Well, shame on us. Elect me, and I make sure that your golden years are full of the quality of life that you deserve.

One by one, group by group stands up, and puts questions to this man, and he answers all of their questions, based on a formula, that has become the 'bible' of the world system. That 'bible', is the one of 'political correctness.'

Political correctness. The new standard, by which people are judged. According to the world, or rather our national system, a person has to be tolerant of others, and their way of thinking. They must cease criticism, of others, because no one is any better than the other, and thereby, has no room to put others down. By that, I mean, making others feel guilty for what they are doing, or the way they think.

This line of thinking, as most other philosophies go, has, as its root, the bible. That is why, so many people today, tend to quote the bible, while promoting this 'new gospel', if one would call it that.

You see, this 'new gospel', as does the 'true gospel' [gospel, means good news], lets us know, that we are free from the guilt of sin, that is in our lives. There is now no condemnation, to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk, not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Ro 8:1). This 'new gospel' says there is now no condemnation to them that walk after the flesh. And the method used to remove this guilt (condemnation), is to put guilt on any one that tries to point it out. That way, they can effectively shut people up, so they don't mention it. Therefore since no one mentions it, people feel good about themselves. And, when they feel good about themselves, they have a tendency, not to want to change.

The 'true gospel', lets us know, that we are all condemned to hell, from birth, because of an inherited sin nature in us. But, Jesus, paid the price, with His shed blood, so that if we choose, we can freely be forgiven, and restored back to the relationship that we had, with God, before sin, separated us. The only requirement needed from us, is that we realize that, repent, and turn from our wicked ways. The 'new gospel' does not lead one to repentance, rather, it simply hides the fact that we need to repent, by saying, there is nothing wrong with you, or the way you think, or the things you do.

What then happens, is that the one with the problem, is the one that chooses to set themselves up as a judge over others. They are sick. They need to go to a shrink, and find out what's wrong with them. The sinner is no longer guilty, but the righteous are, they are the ones with the 'holier than thou' attitude.

This type of thinking, is what has this nation in the mess it is in today.

We have a president, that for all intents and purposes, is the representative of all of us, and his behavior, and lack of true moral leadership, shows the world what we are all about. We stand for nothing, and will fall for anything, when it comes to what is right, and what is wrong.

We have become no better than most third world nations that we tend to look down our noses at. We have lost our way on the road of human experience, much more, the way that God has told us to go.

We accept sin, and reject righteousness. We worship man, animal, plant, the air and water.

Environmentalism, animal rights, plant and insect rights. All part of the religion of 'political correctness.' If anyone dares to take a stand against any of the beliefs that some of these 'apostles' of corruption, and their lunacy, promote, they are labeled, nuts.

Well, you are looking at the thoughts of one of the biggest 'nuts' around. And, guess what??? I'm proud to announce it.

Hold on there, preacher!!! Do you know what you are saying??? You are setting yourself up for ridicule. My answer is, 'so what????'

Being ridiculed, is the least of my problems. I am going to be ridiculed one way or another, but at least, this way, I am getting blessed for it.

Blessed, you ask??? That's right, blessed. Not by man, but, by God.

You see, if I am going to try to please anybody, and have them speak good of me, it surely isn't going to be someone that, themselves, will have to answer to someone that has the power to condemn them to hell. And that's where the political correctness crowd is heading.

In these last days, we are witnessing a mass exodus, from the word of God, to what man, and his corrupt mind can come up with. All the way from skid row, to the presidency and even the pulpits of the churches of this nation.

People are clamoring to be accepted by people who are just as lost as they are. The blind, leading the blind.

Now, it's one thing, for regular people to do it, but preachers???

These men, and women, are supposed to be working so that God will be pleased with them. So that they will be in position to be blessed by Him.

Doing the will of God. That's what it is all about. We seem to have fewer and fewer people, willing to stand up for God. Look at what Jesus said about those that suffered persecution for His sake. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake; for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are ye, when men revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so persecuted they the prophets, which were before you. [Matt. 5:10-12]

Now why would Jesus tell His disciples to be prepared to be persecuted, unless He knew that they were going to face it, when standing up for what He had taught them??? Because the world system, is one that seeks total independence from God. But, they still need to have something or someone to worship, but they want something that they, themselves actually have control over. So they come up with all sorts of man made philosophies and ideas that they pursue, just so they won't have to be obedient to someone or thing that they can't control.

The ways that God says we should go, are repulsive to them, because it puts guilt in their hearts, and that makes them feel bad, so they are trying to stomp it out. But they can't do it, if someone keeps on talking about it. That's my job. To make those that want to get away from feeling that they are sinning, just as uncomfortable as possible, with it.

Why, you might ask. It's simple. To get them to see the consequences of what they are doing. God, is not going to play the 'political correctness' game with them, when judgment time comes. And if I don't keep telling them the truth, then I may just wind up with them, on the wrong side of God's mercy.

Being quiet, isn't doing you, or me, any good. And, since I am looking out for myself, then I see the benefits of doing what God says is right. Sure it's not going to make me very popular with the world crowd, but so what???

Show me anyone walking around today, that can deliver a person from the bonds of sin, heal the sick, raise the dead, make a way where there is no way, cause the lame to walk and the blind to see, the deaf to hear. They don't have a cure for cancer, sugar diabetes, or AIDS. Well, God does, and He can not only do that, but, save my soul from hell. All I have to do, is, what I am doing, preach the word, stand for righteousness, and speak out against sin.

The more I stand, the more I get blessed. The more I speak out against sin, the more I get blessed. It's like depositing money in the bank. I'm saving for a 'rainy day.'

We all have sunshine, and rain in the natural, and also in the spiritual realm. God blesses us all the time. However, when the rain comes, and the storms beat against us, guess who is going to fall, and who is going to be left standing??? Those that adhere to the statutes of the word of God. The 'politically correct' crowd, is morally, and spiritually, bankrupt. And the bad part is, they don't know it, and they don't care. As long as they can be spoken well of by their friends, or get a good job, or get elected, or, even worshipped. They will be just like that politician, trying to please everybody, but the One that will judge their souls.

Jesus once said, 'whosoever shall save his life, shall lose it, but he who loses his life, for my sake, shall find it' [MATT. 16:25]. This means, among other things, that anyone, seeking to have a good reputation, and be well spoken of, among men, will lose having a good reputation in the sight of God. Let's put it like this, friendship with the world, makes you an enemy of God's [JAMES 4 : 4]. The world system, and its ideas are corrupt. It is birthed in sin, and its end result, is death. There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end result is death [and hell] [PROV. 14:12,16:25]. There is a price to pay, for being 'politically correct' and a reward for standing for righteousness. I choose the latter.

My mother once replied to a question that I had put to her, about why couldn't I do some of the things my friends were doing, with a simple question. She said, 'If everybody in the world went up to the roof of the tallest building in the world, and jumped off, would you do it???' My reply, was, no!! Well, believe it or not, those in the 'politically correct' crowd, are doing just that. They are falling in lock step with the devil, and following him to eternal damnation, just so they can be well spoken about, by others that are on their way, there, too. Which one, are you?????
